This course focuses on the different types of sprinkler systems. At the conclusion of this course the participant will be able to understand and apply the definition of a “sprinkler system” according to NFPA 13 and the three types of system configurations (tree, loop, and grid). In addition, the participant will be able to identify the four types of sprinkler systems (wet, dry, preaction, and deluge) and understand how they activate.
